- Welcome to my blog. I am a UK artist based in the South West. I make heads and faces using ceramic materials from my studio on a windy hill between Bristol and Bath. I use drawing and photography too. This is about my work, finished pieces and workings out, my environment, my collections and fascinations...in fact everything that goes into my head that has some sort of creative impact/outcome.

I was very happy that I was given your book for Christmas (well, it was on my wishlist!) so I'm looking forward to getting stuck into some clay play.
Can you recommend any good books on firing and glazing? That side of things doesn't seem to be covered so much in the book.
