Today = studio spring clean and sketchbook session.
I've stripped my working wall of all it's picture/frames/objects - in preparation for a new body of work.
Mixed up heads.
I'm planning some heads that will be a mix of white and red clays so I started with these sketches. The were intended to be schematic-ish sketches, to roughly work out the location /effect of different types of clay...but have turned up a way of working that I like...... a liberal daubing of paint.
