We went to the Holburne Museum last night
to hear Martin Parr talk about his various collections and
memorabilia, always a delight.........
Parr has collections of Maggie Thatcher,
Osama Bin Laden, Barrack Obama and Saddam Hussein
memorabilia. A great postcard collection from the golden
age of pastcards, printed trays, sputnik era objects and
much much more......
All this resulted in a lively debate from the audience - most
notably someone posited a theory that Osama Bin Laden and
Che Guevara are the same person and neither of them are dead.
