This is called 'The other day
I saw a wren in the Barle Valley' by
Jacqueline' Leighton Boyce. I found her work
when looking for something else......
I'm intrigued by the personal nature of her work
and how immersed she is in her immediate
landscape....and of course the birds!
{we have just been watching the swifts doing
their dusk flybys. Only a small group this year.
From our bathroom window, which is 3 floors up
we can get a great view of them and their
acrobatics - there are moments when they seem
to be flying directly at us}
