- Welcome to my blog. I am a UK artist based in the South West. I make heads and faces using ceramic materials from my studio on a windy hill between Bristol and Bath. I use drawing and photography too. This is about my work, finished pieces and workings out, my environment, my collections and fascinations...in fact everything that goes into my head that has some sort of creative impact/outcome.

Your 'Wonderneedle' looks interesting make sure that you don't have it to hand when your working with clay. I know what it's like, before you know it you'll be digging it into the clay to make an interesting mark and it won't be anything to do with rugs!
I know I'll have to put it in the 'clean things cupboard' in my studio!
