When I got to the studio this morning at 8ish
the young swallows were still on the wire.
It was foggy, and cold and they were huddled
and scruffy.
But the day warmed up and when I check a
bit later one of the pair had flown, while
the other remained with the parent
guarding him.
A bit later he has flown too.
Today I've been finishing off heads for
the Ipswich show which I am installing
in a couple of weeks.
Clare's mum dropped by and brought
a handful of colour and Jive bars.
