Spike Island - book fair

JT and I will both have books on sale this Saturday in Bristol at Spike Islands' Book and Zine Fair on abc's stand.  How exciting. Mine are all done, wrapped and ready, he is putting the finishing touches to his, when I say finishing touches......

Bruce Ingram

Out the window is a rainy misty Bath but with flashes of autumn. I'm having a bit sort out - what to take to the studio - my Penguin set of Thesaurus, Idioms, Dictionary etc, last glaze tests and paint paint and more paint.  In amongst all the papers and junk on my desk I found Lisa's lost note with a name on - Bruce Ingram - this is what he does and I like it!

book drawings

JT has been trying to photo each drawing as I do them but some have sneaked in to their books before he's had a chance.  So they are all stuck, sealed and hidden ready for the eyes of their new owners only.

Origin 2009

Here are some shots of my stand at Origin, this was my home for a week and very nice it was too! Thanks to all who came to visit me -  I had a fantastic response to the work, made new friends and waved off several pieces to new homes including 'hearing things', 'red faced', 'her', 'him' and 'boy pebble'.
